The Strength Edit: Bone & Strength Lab

Build strength. Improve body composition. Strengthen your bones for decades ahead.

A science-based strength training designed specifically for women to build muscle, improve bone density, and help you stay stronger, leaner & more confident in your body.

Why Strength Training Matters for Women 40+

Strength training becomes increasingly important for women starting in their 40s. Over time, muscle mass naturally declines, metabolism can slow, and bone density gradually decreases.

The right kind of strength training can counteract these changes. Building muscle helps support metabolism and body composition, while bone-loading exercises stimulate bone density and strengthen the skeletal system.

The Bone & Strength Lab was created for women who want to get stronger, improve body composition, and build resilient bones for the decades ahead.

This is not a random workout class. It’s a structured, progressive, individualized strength program designed to help women build real strength and confidence with lifting.

Who This Program Is For:

The Bone & Strength Lab is designed for women who want to build strength in an intelligent, progressive way.

This program is ideal for women who:

• want to get stronger but aren’t sure where to start

• want to improve muscle tone & body composition

• want guidance lifting weights with proper technique & want to increase weights (progressive overload)

• have osteopenia or osteoporosis and want to train safely

• prefer a structured strength program rather than random workouts

• want to learn how to get strong with minimal equipment, no gym needed

• want to stay strong, capable, and independent as they age

• are using or considering GLP-1 medications & want to maintain muscle and protect bone health while losing weight

No prior strength training experience

is required.

This Program May Not Be For You If…

• you’re looking for a high-intensity cardio or unsupervised boot-camp workout

• you want a drop-in workout without a structured & measured progression

The Bone & Strength Lab focuses on progressive strength training designed to build muscle, rev up metabolism & support bone health over time.

What Makes the Bone & Strength Lab Different

This is not random workouts, it’s training for strength with purpose

The Bone & Strength Lab is a structured strength training program designed specifically for women who want to build muscle, improve body composition, and support bone strength while training in a thoughtful, progressive way.

The program incorporates:

• bone-loading exercises that stimulate stronger bones

• progressive resistance training to help you get noticeably stronger week by week!

• lower body and glute strengthening for power & stability

• upper body and posture-focused exercises

• balance and stability training to support long-term mobility

Classes are intentionally small (4-6 people max) so you receive coaching & feedback as you learn proper technique and gradually build real strength

The goal is not just exercise, it’s developing a stronger body that supports health, resilience, power, and longevity

The Bone and Strength Lab Method

The Bone and Strength Lab follows a structured approach designed to help women learn strength training, build muscle, and develop real strength over time.

1. Learn the Foundations

In the first sessions of the program, we focus on learning the key movement patterns used in strength training, including squatting, hinging, pressing, and pulling.

During this time, I observe each participant’s movement patterns, balance, posture, and current strength level. This allows exercises to be adjusted so they are appropriate for each person’s body and experience level

The goal of this phase is to help participants feel comfortable with the movements and develop confidence with proper strength training technique.

2. Build Strength Progressively

Once the foundational movements are established, classes focus on progressive strength training.

Participants gradually increase resistance while continuing to refine technique and control. Exercises are designed to build muscle, improve posture and stability, and support long term bone health.

Because classes are intentionally small with only four to six participants, everyone receives coaching and feedback while they train.

3. Develop Lasting Strength

As strength builds, participants continue progressing with more challenging variations and increasing resistance.

The goal of the program is to help women build real strength, improve body composition, and develop a body that stays capable, resilient, and strong for the decades ahead.

What Women Experience

Many women come into the program unsure about lifting weights or worried about doing the exercises correctly. Within a few weeks, they often begin to feel stronger, more confident, and more capable in their bodies.

Participants commonly notice:

• more muscle tone and improved body composition and weight loss

• increased strength in everyday activities

• improved balance & stability

• greater confidence with strength training

The goal is not just to exercise, it’s to build a body that stays strong and capable for years to come.

Meet your coach

I am a certified personal trainer & corrective exercise specialist with specialized training in women’s strength and bone health.

Over the years, I have worked with many women who wanted to get stronger but were not sure where to begin with strength training. Some were concerned about bone density, while others wanted to build muscle, improve body composition, and feel stronger and more confident in their bodies as they moved through their 40s and beyond.

Many had tried fitness classes that were too cardio focused, too random, or not designed with long-term strength and bone health in mind.

Through this work, I saw how powerful thoughtful strength training can be for women. When women learn proper technique, train progressively, and build real strength, it can transform how they feel in their bodies and how they move through daily life. That realization led me to create the Bone & Strength Lab.

My goal is to provide a welcoming environment where women can learn proper strength training, challenge themselves, and build lasting strength that supports their health, confidence, and resilience for years to come!
